A Legacy in Gemstones & Jewellery
Rooted in generations of gemstone expertise, Jewelled brings together heritage, artistry and distinctive design. Each piece celebrates the natural beauty and individuality of carefully selected gemstones.
Our Story Begins in 1948
Our story began in Sri Lanka in 1948 with the Marikar Bawa Group, founded on a deep appreciation for the island’s remarkable gemstone heritage.
For generations, the family has worked with some of Sri Lanka’s most treasured gemstones, from its renowned sapphires and vibrant spinels to an extraordinary variety of naturally occurring coloured stones.
What began with the sourcing and appreciation of fine gemstones evolved over the decades into a broader tradition of jewellery and craftsmanship — bringing together an understanding of each stone’s unique character with the artistry required to transform it into something enduring.
Today, that heritage continues through Jewelled, carrying generations of knowledge and appreciation for gemstones into a new chapter.

A Legacy of Craftsmanship
Generations of experience with gemstones have shaped the way we approach every piece of jewellery. Each stone is carefully selected for its individual character, colour and beauty, becoming the starting point for the design.
Through thoughtful design, attention to detail and craftsmanship, we create jewellery that allows each gemstone to take centre stage — continuing a family appreciation for gemstones while giving it a distinctly modern expression.
Jewelled Today
Today, Jewelled brings this heritage into a contemporary expression of jewellery — celebrating individuality, colour and the unique character of carefully selected gemstones.
Our designs are created to feel distinctive and personal, bringing together vibrant gemstones, thoughtful design and craftsmanship to create pieces with character.
We don't just create jewellery; we carry forward a legacy — honouring the knowledge and appreciation for gemstones passed through generations while creating something distinctly our own.
